Wait, how is it already New Year's Eve? I'm extremely lucky to have had a fantastic and full 2010. The highlights:

January
A Sunday NYC trip with friends to Zum Schneider. And probably the best thing that happened to me all year -- starting my job at readMedia!

Skiing with our great pals in Utah. A week of powder, beer and shenanigans. Saying goodbye to my Grandfather after a long battle with dementia.

Watching our friend run the NYC half-marathon. We took the subway from Columbus Circle to Battery Park. He ran and beat us there.

Following around the Tour of the Battenkill, even in the rain and mud. Floyd Landis riding up Stage Rd. two feet away from me.

Two Mark Knopfler concerts, back-to-back in Atlantic City and Albany.

My cousin's shower and bachelorette in Buffalo, and then watching my friend John devour a chicken finger sub.

A visit from some of our best friends from Rochester and showing them around Saratoga. Logging 400+ miles of cycling, even managing to get in couple of rides down in Bucks County, PA while visiting our friends and a ride on a rental bike along the lake shore in Chicago.

My cousin's weddings in Pittsburgh and Belgium, which made for a great excuse to spend some time in Paris and Marseilles with our favorite amis.

Hiking Vroman's Nose, Crane and Catamount Mountains, camping at Ausable Chasm and spending a weekend in Montreal watching the Grand Prix de Cycliste. Cheering for Jens Voigt, George Hincapie, Robert Gesink, and Ryder Hesjedal as they flew by.

I asked the husband why he had been stuck at work tonight. His answer was about 45 minutes long and contained the following:
